Aug 12, 2018. #1. There is a very common strategy of camping in this game. I'm not talking about sitting in tech and levelling a few GBs until you have enough goods in stock and you're ready to move up. I'm talking about three years plus of a single age camping. Beyond collecting a few of the more crucial GBs and getting them to ideal levels.
IndA is not bad and if you negotiate the Cmaps and story quests the right way you can get a lot of advance age troops from IndA. I have PE, ME and PME (6 MG teams, Commandos, 2 Rocket Artillery and a Champ). MGs make GbG easy in IndA just have to be careful with the teams. The short answer is: contemporary era.
CA is one of the best fighting ages so I'd worry about leveling up more once there. 5k of each good is probably enough. 10k is better. LMA usually trades much better than CA because ppl tend to camp CA for long stretches. Later I'd stay in Indy briefly and camp PE. Both troops are meh but PE goods are very good.
This question is asked a lot. My advice is be able to finish GE 4 (preferably fighting) and events before moving forward. CF increases diamonds you get from quest so it's nice to have it leveled to at least 60-70 before advancing. Seems so far that the higher age you are is funner.
Ask around your guild for anyone who's got a farm world and would be willing to help you get setup - they can cycle you goods, help you get zeus bp's to start, and quickly level your zeus. Stay in Iron as long as you can. The only reason to age up is when you run out of expansions. spartan5652. • 5 yr. ago.
Too, you can never have too many coins ever. In Iron age, both of these resource stockpiles are going to take a serious hit. Housing income doesn't get a whole lot better, and the recurring coin quest for Iron Age requires 6k coin rather than the 1800 coin in Bronze Age. The smallest Iron Age supply building is the butcher at 4x3, and employs 66.
Camping in FoE isn't bad, its a good thing to do. I'd say lingering after you complete the era's tech is camping but camping is an amazing thing to do in FoE, allows you to build up your GBs and improve your city. I am gonna be camping in FE until I at least reach 800 attack and defence. Highly recommend camping.
Jan 8, 2019. #3. IrA: Pros: cheap r'lyeh and unbirthday so good for HQing if very dedicated, easier to unlock GE levels, drummer and color guard wreck in battle, opportunity to get EMA units. Cons: very little space. HMA: Pros: small prod building (alchemist) so good for HQing if less dedicated.
Here are a few tips to help you manage your city and enjoy Forge of Empires. Managing Goods. Don't go to the next age until you have at least 250 of each goods of your current age and previous ages. Personally, I won't go to a new age until I have 500 of each goods for my current age and all previous ages in stock.
